About the Job:

We are seeking expressions of interest from talented and motivated Power System Engineers to join our dynamic team. As a Power System Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, analysis, and optimisation of power systems to ensure reliable and efficient energy delivery.

You will work on exciting projects that contribute to the transition towards a sustainable energy future, and excitingly, you will join our capable team of engineers and consultants to make your mark and achieve with us.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver end-to-end generator connection applications under the National Electricity Rules (NER) and relevant AEMO / NSP requirements

• Own the technical connection pathway for synchronous and asynchronous plant integration to the NEM: concept development, connection and support through commissioning and hold points

• Grow your capacity to deliver and coordinate key technical studies including harmonics, power quality, dynamic performance, fault levels, and system strength-related assessments

• Produce high-quality technical reports and responses to RFI / clarifications from NSPs, AEMO, and OEMs

• Work closely with OEMs, EPCs, and internal project teams to de-risk connection outcomes and keep delivery on schedule.

‍Desired Qualifications & Expertise:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

• Proven experience in power system engineering and the NEM connection process.  Site and / or practical design experience is advantageous as is asynchronous / inverter generation plant expertise

• Proficiency in power system analysis software is advantageous (e.g., PSS/E, PSCAD, DIgSILENT ETAP)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
